Thelma Adele Stevens, 85

Thelma Adele Stevens, 85, of Bridgeport, Nebraska, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Skyview at Bridgeport. A Celebration of Life was held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Broadwater with Beverly Adam, PMA, officiating. Interment followed at the Oregon Trail Cemetery in Bridgeport.

Thelma was born on June 22, 1936, to John and Alice (Miller) Anderson in Jackson, Wyoming. She graduated from Minatare High School in 1954. She married Thomas Fulton and had six children. After the passing of her first husband, she married Dennis Stevens on June 4, 1983.

Thelma dedicated her life to helping others. She worked at the Heritage of Bridgeport (Skyview) as a nurse aid before receiving her LPN license in 1981. She than worked as an LPN at the nursing home before moving to Morrill County Community Hospital where she worked till retirement.

She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, Girl Scouts and Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Stevens; daughter, Christine Moss; son, Mike Fulton and his wife Jen; stepson, Tim Stevens and his wife Michelle; and grandchildren, Andrew Landen, Joshua Moss, Broc and Bret Fulton.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas J. Fulton; her sons, Wade, Kevin, Dan Fulton; daughter, Karen Landen; son-in-law, Milton Moss; and her brother, Allan Anderson.
