Bridgeport eighth grader Elizabeth Menke wrestled for the Bayard Wrestling Club at the 2024 Nebraska USA State Championship in Grand Island.Menke wrestled in the 113-lb bracket. After a bye in the first round, she wrestled McKenna Kreikemeier of Bennington, felling her in two minutes and forty-eight seconds with a pin.
