Bulldogs win sub-district title, fall in district final to end season
Playing in a district championship for a sixth year in a row, the Bridgeport boys basketball team couldn’t overcome a big and veteran-led Howells-Dodge opponent in the D1-6 final on Monday evening in Lexington. The Jaguars put their size and experience to good use in pulling away for a 56-34 win to secure a berth into next week’s state tournament in Lincoln.The Bulldogs concluded their season with a final record of 16-10. 03/02/2023 03:00 AM

On January 11, 2023, the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee formally announced several sports would be officially recognized as such in America.These included Muaythai Federation, Cricket, Kickboxing, Lacrosse, and Cheer teams. For the third straight year, the Bridgeport Lady Bulldogs captured the championship of the Western Trails Conference basketball tournament.
