The Bridgeport boys golf team wrapped up the season with a 10th-place finish at the Class D state tournament held last week at North Platte’s Lake Maloney Golf Course. Local man receives Quilt of Valor in ceremony

Bridgeport man Lyle Heine was awarded a Quilt of Valor last week in a ceremony at his home near Northport.The quilt was designed, pieced together, and bound by Margaret Lienemann of Alliance and was quilted by Chris Wolf of Scottsbluff.
