The difference of a dollar
The Bridgeport Ministerial Association found the end of the rainbow inside Platte Valley Bank on Thursday when Lewis Coulter, Community President of the Bridgeport branch, handed the employees’ pot of gold to the local ministers for use at the Bridgeport food pantry.
Coulter explained that the bank staff can wear blue jeans on Fridays for a nominal $1. oo fee, with the occasional $2.00 charge for the same privilege, and then they use the money for community betterment. Platte Valley Bank has been collecting this cash for the past tw0 Years and decided to donate the $700.00 to the BMA Food Pantry for the purchase of food for the needy in Morrill County.
