Harry Wayne “Barney” Dean, 97, of Bridgeport, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard. Per his request, cremation has taken place; a Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Bridgeport with Pastor Ray Cook officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard and the Bridgeport Sons of The American Legion Honor Guard. Memorials may be given in care of the church or the Friends of the Bridgeport Library. Jorge Alberto Galvan of Bridgeport, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 26, with a Prayer Service at 4 p.m. at Bridgeport Memorial Chapel. His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, at Iglesia Bethel, 723 Black Hills Ave.in Alliance, with Rev. Hilario Garza officiating.
