Summer months are peak season for working in the garden and tackling home improvement and construction projects, making it incredibly important to take steps to dig safely.
Session three lessons have ended at the swimming pool in Bridgeport this summer, with dozens of children having taken part in the opportunity to move up a level in their swimming education. While the pool has been closed for maintenance this past week, it is up and running again now. Once school starts, the pool will be open every day for adult swim from 12:00-1:00 p.m., and 5:00-6:00 p.m., and on weekends for open swim 12:00-8:00 p.m until the weather changes and the pool closes for the summer, a date which has not yet been set.
The 2nd annual Hometown Heroes game got underway this year on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Reimers Field in Dalton with 56 kids and adults taking part in a fun baseball game, Kids vs. Public Servants.
