Bombers open season at home

Early season jitters and a lack of practice showed in the opening games of the season last Wednesday night when the American Legion Post 29 Bombers hosted the Alliance Spartans in a Juniors/Seniors doubleheader at George Post Field. While a beautiful evening made it perfect for baseball, the quality of play left much to be desired. Fans came out in droves for the all-American tradition; attendance was estimated to be more than 200 fans for each game.
