The Prairie Winds Community Center is a busy place to be on Sunday afternoons with middle school volleyball teams from Bridgeport, Leyton, Morrill, Hemingford, Hay Springs, and Chadron duking it out on the dual courts. Bridgeport and Chadron each bring three teams to the center, while the rest of the towns bring one each. Charlee Wallesen, PWCC Operations Director, has deemed the program a huge success with plans of similar events in the making.
