Following their ancestor’s path

Passing through Bridgeport on Friday was a group of friends who are following the path their ancestors took on the Mormon Trail over a hundred years ago, a personal journey that will take them through five states and almost 1300 miles. The group camped at the Lazy River Ranch on Friday night, arriving after 24 miles on the trail about 2:00 p.m. and leaving an hour after first light Saturday morning.
